Executive Vice President Brokerage/Leasing

As Executive Vice President of CMI Brokerage, Dene oversees the brokerage and leasing of CMI’s Dallas office. Since 1985, he has handled hundreds of transactions in the office, retail and industrial arenas.

In the DFW marketplace, he is known as the “Dene of Commercial Real Estate.” Dene has a history of matching his clients’ specific needs with viable solutions that have saved his clients significant time, money and has provided them with real estate expertise not generally found in-house. He serves his clients as a real estate advocate allowing them to focus on their core business while he focuses on their real estate needs.

Throughout his 25+ years at CMI, Dene has consistently been a top producing broker. During his tenure in the industry, his professional achievements have included:

  • Being selected to the McKinney Economic Development “Hall of Fame” after procuring a 65,000 SF Fortune 500 client
  • Receiving the “Bulldog Award” for outstanding Tenant Rep Transaction of the Year from Gaedeke Landers, a major Dallas real estate owner
  • Being recognized in 2007 as one of three Dallas Tenant Rep Brokers to receive an Invitation to the “Hall Gala” in Napa Valley, California, and
  • Being nominated for the “Stemmons Service Award”

 

In Dene’s early career, he served as AT&T’s Division Personnel Manager of a 2,000-person Operator Services Division. During his tenure at AT&T he was recognized for meritorious service and was awarded the only Super Blue Max Award that the company ever gave to a north Texas employee.

Dene enjoys a wide range of top executive relationships with corporations throughout the DFW Metroplex. He also serves on the Board of a municipal water district, was influential in the development of a community outreach organization, and he serves on the board of three local ministries, one national organization, and is a deacon at the Heights Baptist Church.

In addition, he serves as a volunteer and a mentor in two community outreach and networking groups one of which is RENG, an outreach ministry of DREM.
