Portfolio Manager and Property Manager

Robert Barton has over 10 years of property management experience that expands through all property management fields as he started as a Facilities Technician and has worked his way up to Portfolio Manager.

Mr. Barton moved to Texas from California in 2007. In 2009, he was nominated for ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager) of the Year. In November of 2010, he was nominated again and won IREM's ARM® of the Year.  Currently, Mr. Barton is Committee Chair for IYP (IREM Young Professionals), a role he  had in 2010 as well. Furthermore, Mr. Barton is on the IREM Charity Golf Tournament Committee, the IREM College Outreach Committee and the IREM Membership Committee. In June of 2011, he was nominated for the HAA Industry Achievement Award for Portfolio Manager. Subsequently, Mr. Barton was nominated and then elected Vice President of Services for the IREM Houston 2012 Executive Council.  At present, he is working towards his Certified Property Manager (CPM®) affiliation.

At Central Management, Mr. Barton's role is essential as he is the property manager for all of the Houston location Multi-family properties and the Portfolio Manager.
